There will be a brief informational meeting for any high school athletes interested in participating in Spring track & field this year in room A41 immediately after school today, Thursday, March 17th. If you can not attend, please see Mr Rizner, Mr Corey or Mr Hartman

Anyone who would like to sign up to give blood during our annual blood drive on Wednesday, March 23rd, there is a sign up sheet in the high school office.  Just record your name next to the time you would like to give blood.  Any student who is 16 years or older you must fill out and return it to Mrs. Gagne as soon as possible.  Forms are also on the table in the high school office.

Anyone who is selling “Make-A-Wish” quilt raffle tickets, they are due to Mrs. Gagne this Friday.

Students interested in taking “Summer Driver Ed” need to sign up in the Guidance office or online (using the registration form line) on the school website.  Deadline is April 1st.

Hotspot use on personal devices is impacting our WiFi network. Going forward, hotspots are no longer allowed here at school.  Please use your PPSK WiFi account or your personal data plan (without hotspot enabled) to access the internet. The easiest way to ensure your device is not being used as a hotspot is to set it to airplane mode.
Also, please note that compliance with the rules for acceptable use of computers and the internet applies to personal devices while at school.

The last chance to sign-up to save $100 on “The Tour of Italy 2017” is March 25th. As of April 1st, there will be a price increase, resulting in a higher monthly payment.  Enrollment booklets are on the table in the front lobby.  Check out the link at www.eftours.com/1807779MN.  Our next informational meeting will be Monday, March 21st at 7:00 pm in the Highgate Elementary School Library.  Join us to get started on fundraising.  Contact Mrs Machia at vmachia@fnwsu.org if you have any questions.

Students interested in attending the Franklin Grand Isle Job/Career Expo Field Trip with Mrs. Hartman's Career classes are encouraged to sign up either with her in F7 or with Ms. Hazen in Guidance.  This trip will take place on Thursday, March 31 from 8:30 - 11:00 a.m.  Permission from parent/guardian as well as teachers must be handed into either of these ladies on or before March 18 with no exceptions.  Properly prepared students are expected to be dressed as professionally as they can be and updated resumes are encouraged. If a student is concerned about attire or resume and needs support, please contact Mrs. Hartman. Hats and hoods will not be allowed to be worn inside complex, including at the guest speaker presentation. It is important that hats and phones be left at school or on the bus.

Spring sports signups are now open for both middle and high school athletes.  Please log on to mvuathletics.org and click “register”.  Any questions, please see Mr. Lumsden or Mrs. Larose in the high school office.   If you haven’t played a sport this school year, please check with the nurse to see if your physical is up to date.  All athletes are required to have a physical every 2 years.
