B DAY

Today is the national Day of Silence.  On this day, MVU students join students across the country in taking a vow of silence to support LGBTQ students who have been the targets of bullying, harassment and prejudice.  Our silence protests the climate of fear that makes it dangerous for people to be open about who they really are.  If you have already signed up to participate, please check in this morning with Mrs. Hamel in the library to get your badge and materials.  If you have not signed up, you may still register with Mrs. Hamel in the library.  The day of silence is sponsored by the MVU Pride Alliance.  We thank you for your participation and support.

REMINDER - Students arriving late to school, excused or unexcused MUST check in at the front desk upon arrival for a blue slip.  Student leaving for an Early Dismissal MUST come to the front lobby and sign out in the student book.

Attention Juniors/Seniors:  If you are bringing a guest to this year's Prom who is not an MVU student, you must fill out a “guest contract” and return it to Mrs. Larose no later than Monday, May 1st.  The contracts can be picked up in Mrs. Larose’s office.  Prom is being held at the Sunset Ballroom on Saturday, May 6th.  Tickets are $30.00 and are on sale with Mrs. Gagne in the gym.

The class of 2019 will be selling vouchers for 10” hanging baskets from H&B Greehouse.  Vouchers are $27.00 each and will be on sale until Friday, May 5th.  Please see any sophomore if you are interested in purchasing some amazing baskets!

Spring Crossroads/AfterHours flyers are out.  See your teacher, visit your school office, or check the Crossroads/AfterHours bulletin Boards to get yours today!!!  The Spring session runs May 1 - 25.
