The Library will be closed today from 11:30 - 1:06.

Teachers:  Please remind your TSA’s/Prime Groups that all students are to return their Chromebooks on Thursday, including the ones they borrowed from the library.  Over the break, the school technology staff will be performing routine maintenance and upgrades on them.  Please keep reminding your students to do this.

  • 7th & 8th grade boy’s basketball teams travel to Vergennes.  Bus leaves at 3:00, 7th grade game time is 5:00 followed by 8th grade game at 6:00.
  • 7th & 8th grade girl’s basketball teams play at home vs Vergennes. 7th grade game time is 5:00 (Red/White Teams) followed by 8th grade game at 6:00.

Yesterday and today of this week, students and teachers have an opportunity to participate in its first annual open gym holiday volleyball tournament. Tournament will take place during all periods except period 4.  Students with a pass from a study hall, or teacher, will be able to come to the gym to participate in the holiday fun. Whether you want to play or watch, don't miss this rare opportunity.

  • Varsity girls’ ice hockey team will be travelling to Essex Skating Facility to play MMU/CVU.  Bus leaves at 4:15, game time is 6:15.

The sophomore class of 2020 will be having a meeting during TSA on Monday, December 18th in the theater.

Mr. Gerety is a nationally renowned author and speaker and most recently spoke at the VT Athletic Leadership Conference in
November.  His message will center around creating a positive school culture, standing up to bullying and harassment, and goal setting.  We are asking that all students wear MVU blue and/or white on this day.   

Attention Football players: please pick up your cookie dough forms today in Mr. Lumsden’s office. There will be a meeting on Tuesday, December 13th from 2:45 - 3:45 in the Commons.

There is a Middle School Dance tonight Friday, December 8th. Make plans to attend 7:00-9:00.

On Tuesday, December 12th, MVU will be celebrating Blue & White Day.  In the morning, students will have a 1/2 day of school with shortened classes.  Starting at 11:00, grades 7 & 8 will have lunch.  Grades 9 & 10 will meet in the theatre and grades 11 & 12 will meet in the gym.
