B Day
Today in Sports:
JV boys’ soccer team will be travelling to Mt. Abraham. Team is dismissed at 1:45, bus leaves at 2:00. Game time is 4:00.
JV & varsity field hockey teams will be hosting Harwood. Varsity plays at 3:45 JV plays at 5:00.
8th grade girls’ and 7th grade boys’ soccer teams will be hosting St. Albans City. Game time is 4:00.
Friday’s Sports Schedule:
JV & varsity field hockey will be hosting Milton. This is their senior game. Senior parents are asked to be at the field by 3:30. Varsity plays at 3:45, JV plays at 5:00.

Seniors from the varsity cheer team will also be recognized. Parents are asked to be at the field by 3:45.

All high school students who are interested in participating in Dance this winter, there will be a meeting in the Commons on Wednesday, October 25th from 5:15 - 6:00.
The Northwest Technical Center will be holding their parent/teacher conferences tonight from 4:00 - 8:00 and tomorrow from 12:00 - 2:50. If you would like to schedule a conference with your student’s teacher, please call 527-6433 or 527-6510.
Leonard Parent will be in the commons today during lunch handing out Fall Sports pictures. If anyone owes money please bring it in at that time.
350 cow dairy farm in Franklin seeking young adults for approximately 2 hours of work in the afternoon, 2-3 days per week. Ingredients are loaded with a skid steer into a large mixing wagon, weights are measured on scale within the mixer wagon, and all feeding is directed by a feeding software program on a handheld device. This position is currently open and we are looking to fill it. If you are interested but inexperienced , this farm is willing to train. Please see Mrs. Hartman.

SCHEDULE CHANGE FOR THE FAFSA Financial Aid Forms Workshop AT MVU - THe new date is Wednesday, October 18 @ 5:30 pm - 7:30 pm. We made this change because we recently learned that Governor Phil Scott has proclaimed October as FAFSA Filing Month. SPECIAL ADDED BONUS: Any senior who completes the FAFSA by Oct. 31 could win a $1,000 scholarship from UVM, the Vermont State Colleges, Sterling College or Southern Vermont College when they enroll. Voice of Democracy, Patriotic Audio Essay Competition for a grand prize of $30,000, with other potential prizes to include an all expense paid trip to Washington DC.
