The Library will be closed all day on today.

7th grade boys and girls soccer teams will be hosting Fairfax. Game time is 4:15.

JV & Varsity field hockey will be playing tonight in their “Under the Lights” game.  JV will play at 5:00, varsity plays at 7:00.

Games this weekend:
  • Middle school and varsity cross country teams will be travelling to Thetford.  Bus leaves at 6:30 am for a 10:00 meet time.
  • Football team will be travelling to Otter Valley. Bus leaves at 10:30 for a 2:30 game time.
  • JV & varsity girls soccer teams will be travelling to Vergennes. Bus leaves at 12:30 for a 3:00 game time (note time change).
  • JV & varsity boys soccer teams will be travelling to Vergennes. Bus leaves at 2:15 for a 4:45 game time (note time change).

It’s spirit week! A fantastic week long celebration of school spirit and celebration of our fall athletics.
All this week we have had themed dress up days. Every student who participated in these dress up days was counted as one point for their class, the class with the most participants, gets the most points. Current standings as of yesterday:

Middle School Field Hockey Team plays at home today vs Harwood at 4:30.

Lots of homecoming activities going on this weekend:
  • JV and Varsity Girls’ Soccer Teams will host BFA today at 4:30 pm
  • The High School Outdoor Dance is tonight from 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm.
  • A specatucular Fireworks show, which is open to the public, will take place tonight at 9:00 pm (weather permitting).
  • On Saturday, September 17th from 9:00 - 10:00 we will be having an Alumni Breakfast Tailgate Party for Homecoming in the junior parking lot under the tent. Alumni are free and students and guests: $5.00.  
  • And don't forget to stay for the Field Hockey and Boys Soccer games at 10:00.

All of the weekend activities will be topped off with the 8th Annual MVU-BFA Powder Puff benefit football game which will take place Saturday night at the Collins-Perley Sports Complex beginning at 7:00 pm.  Come watch the senior girls from our two schools compete on the gridiron to support The Bashaw Trauma Center at Northwest Medical Center.  Remember there's nothing Powder Puff about this Football game!  Cost is $4.00 for adults, $2.00 for students & children.  
There will be a spectator bus for any students who wants to travel to the Powder Puff game this Saturday.  If you ride the bus to BFA you must ride the bus back to MVU.  There is a signup sheet in the high school office.  Bus departs at 5:45 pm.

Pride Alliance meetings are now being held on Mondays from 3:00 - 4:00 in E-12. The group is open to grades 7 - 12 and everyone is welcome.  For more information please see Mrs. Hamel or Mrs. Douglass.

Attention NHS Members:  There will be a member meeting on Friday, September 16th during TSA in the Library.  Please see an advisor if you cannot attend.

There will be a Sophomore class meeting on Monday, September 19th in the theater during TSA.
