Parent/teacher conferences are scheduled for today, March 30th from 8:00 am - 3:00 pm.  High school parents wishing to schedule a time to meet with the teachers can go on to “Pick A Time”. Link will be available on our website. Middle school parents, please contact your child’s guidance counselor to schedule your meeting. There is no school scheduled for students today. 
High School Juniors, Sophomores, & Parents: You are invited to attend a free Financial Aid & Managing College Costs VSAC presentation on Wednesday, April 18, 2018, at 6:00 in the MVU library.
Musical Tickets for “Big Fish” will be on sale during most lunch periods in the Commons starting Monday April 9th. Adult tickets are $10 and student tickets are $8. If you would like to purchase tickets prior to April 9th please see Ms. Hoffman in D5. Performance times are as follows: Thursday, April 19th @7:00, Friday April 20th @ 7:00 pm & Saturday, April 21st @ 2:00 pm & 7:00 pm.

Spring Break - No School during the week of April 23rd

Middle School Spring Sports Season will begin on Thursday, April 12th at 3:00 in the Theatre.

7th & 8th Grade Students: Come to the Middle School dance on Friday, April 6th 7:00-9:00 pm. Cost: $6.00 or $5.00 if you bring a non-perishable food item which will be donated to a local food shelf.

April 19th is the last day to sign up for a spring sport.  Please register at mvuathletics.org if you would like to participate in Track and Field, Baseball, Softball and MS Golf.  If you would like to be a manager for a team, you also must sign up.  Make sure your physical is up to date, within the past 2 years and you are academically eligible (based on 2nd quarter grades).

Students interested in taken Summer Driver Education can sign up in the Guidance Office during the month of March. The deadline for sign ups is Friday, March 30th.  Students MUST have proof of a valid Vermont Learner’s Permit by April 1st.

All students and faculty are invited to join the 8th grade for their annual History Night project on today, March 29th from 6:00-7:30 in the gym. This year's focus is on current issues that impact American society.  Students accompanied by their teacher(s) are also welcomed to visit the 8th graders during the day in the gym to view projects.  We ask that students be mindful of the hard work our 8th graders have put into their projects and refrain from touching projects.

Due to the inclement weather conditions earlier this week, our meeting was re-scheduled to Monday, March 19th, 7:00pm in the Highgate Elementary School Library! Travelers from our 2018 trip may be present to share lots of pictures and information of our recent trip to Eastern Europe. We will also be discussing documents needed and fundraising possibilities.  You do not have to be signed up for the trip to attend this informational meeting - hope to see you there!

The 2018 Franklin Regional Career & Job Expo will be held on Thursday, March 29, 2018 at the Collins-Perley Sports & Fitness Center in St. Albans, VT.  The bus will leave MVU at 8:30 AM and return at 11:00 AM.  If you're interested in attending, please see Mrs. Greenia in the guidance office to pick up a permission form.
