Not sure what to do with all those returnable cans and bottles from the holidays? How about donating them to the Class of 2017 for their Substance Free Graduation Party?! The Substance Free Party Committee will be around the local towns to collect bottles on January 7, 2017. However, if you have some you want to donate before that date, they can be dropped off at the Sunoco station in Swanton. Just let them know you are donating them to the Substance Free Party and they will take care of the rest! Thank you for your support!

The annual MVU alumni basketball game will take place on Monday, December 26th at the Missisquoi Valley UHS gym. The Women's game will be at 5:30pm and the Men's game at 6:30pm. There is a fee of $20 for players that includes a T-Shirt and there is no charge for spectators. This event is open to MVU alumni who would like to reconnect with their classmates on the basketball court in an “odd vs even” graduating year format. To spice up the game there will be PA announcers, time out and warm up music, and an MVU dance team performance. Along with your new, old or vintage basketball shoes, players should recruit as many classmates as they can to come out and watch or play. It is a “just for fun” annual holiday event not to miss. The MVU boosters will be taking orders for spirit wear and the food booth will be open for business. All proceeds collected are in support of the MVU Girls basketball program fundraising efforts.
