High School Announcements
Today’s Lunch Special: Grilled Cheese Sandwich with Tomato Soup & Crackers, Fresh Veggies w/Hummus Dip, Italian Veggie Salad, Fresh Fruit.
Tomorrow’s Lunch Special: Grilled Chicken on a Whole Wheat Roll, Lettuce & Tomato, Garden Pasta Salad, Celery Sticks with Ranch Dip, Fresh Fruit.
- Skit Nite tickets will be on sale in Mrs. Larose’s office during all lunch periods beginning on Tuesday, November 3rd. Cost is $7.00 for Thursday night, $8.00 for Friday night.
- NAHS will be meeting in room A32 on Thursday, November 5th, beginning promptly at 3:00 pm. If you have any questions, please see Ms DiDio or Ms Benoit.
- Teachers and students please refrain from going to the gym or allowing students to the gym during school time. Students should only be in the gym if they are assigned to be there.
- The Library will be closed on Tuesday from 7:30 - 12:50 for ASVAB testing.
- Auditions for the musical will be on November 18th beginning at 3:30. The sign up sheet for this year’s production of The Little Mermaid is posted on the band room door. All students in grades 7 through 12 are encouraged to participate.
- Students are reminded that food from local restaurants and fast food vendors are not permitted in school during regular school hours.
- High School Sports Awards Night is tonight, Monday, November 2nd in the Commons at 6:00 pm. Please bring a snack to share.
- Winter sports signups are now open for both middle and high school athletes. Please log on mvuathletics.org and click “register”. Any questions, please see Mr. Lumsden or Mrs. Larose in the high school office. Middle school cheerleaders please note that you should sign-up under high school.
- The FFA will also be having their Annual Citrus Sale. If you would like to place an order, please see one of our FFA members or Mr. Wilde.
- The Yearbook Committee is selling Christmas wreaths. Students will be coming around to see you or you can pick up an order form in Mrs. Hakey’s office.
- Exchange Student hosting experience 2016! How does hosting an exchange student from January through June, sharing your traditions and making a dream come true sound? It is not too late to make this year the most exciting, enriching year ever for you and your family. Welcome a high school student into your community, home and school and make an overseas friend for life.
