Summer Kale Salad, Fresh Fruit.
Tomorrow’s Lunch: Hot Turkey Sandwich, Garlic Mashed Potatoes, Glazed Carrots, Apple Sauce, Fresh Fruit.
There will be a football meeting on February 12th at 7:45 in the gym for all players and interested players.
Spring sports signups are now open for both middle and high school athletes. Please log on to mvuathletics.org and click “register”. Any questions, please see Mr. Lumsden or Mrs. Larose in the high school office. If you haven’t played a sport this school year, please check with the nurse to see if your physical is up to date. All athletes are required to have a physical every 2 years.
Attention Faculty, Staff and High School Students: Intramural Volleyball sign-ups are in the high school office. Games will be played after school from March 2nd through March 16th. Last day to sign up is Thursday, February 18th. Teams will be announced on Friday, February 19th.
There is a mandatory chapter meeting for the National Arts Honor Society in J14 today from 3:00-4:00.
Any student who is interested in learning sign language, please sign up in Mrs. Larose’s office.
Attention MVU Class of 2020: 9th Grade Parent Orientation Night is tonight, Thursday, February 4th at 6:00-7:30 pm in the Trahan Theater. Parents and students of the current 8th grade class are invited to attend the annual 9th grade orientation.The evening's topics include high school course registration process, important considerations in this transition and guidance/counseling information.
Are you seriously considering a career in health care? If so, Champlain Valley AHEC has begun accepting applications for this summer's 2016 MedQuest program! The application itself is to be completed online at www.cvahec.org with to two (2) recommendation forms submitted by two professionals. The application deadline is March 11, 2016. Incomplete applications will not be considered. This is open to high school students currently in 10th or 11th grades. The program fee is $450, and scholarships will be available. Please see Mrs. Hartman or your guidance counselor for any questions regarding the MedQuest program.
