A Day

Today in Sports:

• 7th grade boys & girls basketball teams will be traveling to Sheldon.  Bus leaves at 5:00.  Girls team plays at 6:00, boys team plays at 7:00.
• JV & Varsity girls basketball teams will be traveling to Mt. Abraham.  Bus leaves at 3:45. JV game time is 5:30, Varsity game time is 7:00.
• 8th grade boys basketball practice is cancelled today.

Baseball open gyms will begin Sunday, February 18th from 10-11:30AM in the gym. Open gyms will continue at the same time on Sunday Feb. 25th, March 4th, and March 11th.  All players in grades 7-12 are welcomed to attend regardless of ability or experience.  Please contact Coach Sargent with any questions or concerns by e-mailing him at, MVUBaseball@gmail.com or by messaging Friends of MVU Baseball on Facebook.

The Library will be closed today, February 6 during periods 3 and 4 (9:40-1:06), on Wednesday from 9:30 until the end of the day, and on Thursday from 1:30 until the end of the day.

Students attending the Career Panel Field Trip on Wednesday, February 7 will be called to the lobby after TSA Wednesday morning.  Students will be returning during period 4 and may eat lunch at that time if they have 1st or 2nd lunch and will be going to 4th period upon return to school and will eat with their class if lunch is scheduled later than that.  

There is a Middle School Dance on Friday, February 9th at 7:00-9:00. Cost is $6.00 or $5.00 with a non-perishable food item.

Middle School Sports Awards Night is Monday, February 12th at 6:00 in the Commons.

ASVAB Test, Wednesday, March 14^th at 8:30 am in the MVU Library.  It's not just a test for entrance into the military.  It's a test designed to help you explore different career areas. If interested or have questions please see your guidance counselor.

The Franklin Northwest SU Superintendent’s search will be concluding on February 7th. On Wednesday February 7^th, there will be an opportunity for the community to Meet and Greet, and ask questions of all Superintendent’s finalist/s that the search committee moves forward.
