A Day

Today in Sports:
  • 7th grade girls’ & boys’ teams travel to St. Albans City. Bus departs at 3:00. The 7th grade girls’ play at 4:00 followed by the boys’ game at 5:00.
  • Girls Ice Hockey team will be dismissed at 10:45 to travel to Brattleboro for a make up game.  
  • 8th grade girls’ & boys’ basketball teams play at home vs. Colchester. The girls’ play at 5:00 followed by the boys’ game at 6:00.

The Superintendent Candidate Visitation Day along with the Meet and Greet has been rescheduled. On Tuesday, February 13th, there will be an opportunity for the community to Meet and Greet, and ask questions of all Superintendent’s finalist/s that the search committee moves forward. Your input is valued by the Franklin Northwest Supervisory Union School Board. Please attend from 4:15-5:15 PM at Missisquoi Valley Union School Library.  We look forward to hearing your questions and receiving your input.

Middle School Student Council Meeting today, Thursday February 8th at 12:45-12:55 in the theater. Members, please check your email.

Baseball open gyms will begin Sunday, February 18th from 10-11:30 am in the gym.  Open gyms will continue at the same time on Sunday Feb. 25th, March 4th, and March 11th.  All players in grades 7-12 are welcomed to attend regardless of ability or experience.  Please contact Coach Sargent with any questions or concerns by e-mailing him at, MVUBaseball@gmail.com or by messaging Friends of MVU Baseball on Facebook.

The Library will be closed today, Thursday 2/8 from 1:30 until the end of the day.

There is a Middle School Dance on Friday, February 9th at 7:00-9:00. Cost is $6.00 or $5.00 with a non-perishable food item.

Middle School Sports Awards Night is Monday, February 12th at 6:00 in the Commons.


ASVAB Test, Wednesday, March 14th at 8:30 am in the MVU Library.  It's not just a test for entrance into the military.  It's a test designed to help you explore different career areas. If interested or have questions please see your guidance counselor.
