B Day

Today in Sports:

• Varsity indoor track & field team will be travelling to UVM for the Division 2 State Meet.  Bus leaves at 5:00, meet begins at 6:30.
• JV & varsity girls’ basketball teams will be hosting Enosburg.  JV plays at 5:30, varsity plays at 7:00.

Weekend in Sports:

• Varsity dance team will be travelling to Middlebury for the NVAC Championship.  Bus leaves at 8:45, competition begins at 1:00.
• JV & varsity boys’ basketball teams will be travelling to Mt. Abraham.  Bus leaves at 8:45.  JV plays at 11:00, varsity plays at 12:30.
• Varsity boys’ ice hockey team will be travelling to Cairns to play Milton.  Bus leaves at 5:00, game time is 7:10.
• Varsity girls’ ice hockey team will be hosting Harwood.  This is their Cancer Awareness game.  Game time is 7:00. 

Spring Sports registration is open.  Please register at mvuathletics.org if you would like to participate in Track and Field,  Baseball, Softball and MS Golf.  If you would like to be a manager for a team, you also must sign up.  Make sure your physical is up to date, within the past 2 years and you are academically eligible.

The Superintendent Candidate Visitation Day along with the Meet and Greet has been rescheduled. On Tuesday, February 13th, there will be an opportunity for the community to Meet and Greet, and ask questions of all Superintendent’s finalist/s that the search committee moves forward. Your input is valued by the Franklin Northwest Supervisory Union School Board. Please attend from 4:15-5:15 PM at Missisquoi Valley Union School Library.  We look forward to hearing your questions and receiving your input.

Baseball open gyms will begin Sunday, February 18th from 10-11:30 am in the gym.  Open gyms will continue at the same time on Sunday Feb. 25th, March 4th, and March 11th.  All players in grades 7-12 are welcomed to attend regardless of ability or experience.  Please contact Coach Sargent with any questions or concerns by e-mailing him at, MVUBaseball@gmail.com or by messaging Friends of MVU Baseball on Facebook.

There is a Middle School Dance on Friday, February 9th at 7:00-9:00. Cost is $6.00 or $5.00 with a non-perishable food item.

Middle School Sports Awards Night is Monday, February 12th at 6:00 in the Commons.

ASVAB Test, Wednesday, March 14th at 8:30 am in the MVU Library.  It's not just a test for entrance into the military.  It's a test designed to help you explore different career areas. If interested or have questions please see your guidance counselor.
