A Day

Today in Sports:

• Middle school field hockey team will be hosting Milton. Game time is 5:30.  
• JV field hockey team will be hosting North Country.  Game time is 6:15.  
• Varsity field hockey team will be hosting North Country. Game time is 7:15.
• 7th grade boys & girls soccer teams will be travelling to Richford. Teams are dismissed at 2:15, bus leaves at 2:30. Game time is 4:00.
• 8th grade boys & girls soccer teams will be travelling to Georgia. Teams are dismissed at 2:30, bus leaves at 2:45. Game time is 4:00.
• JV boys soccer team will be hosting Mt. Abraham.  Game time is 4:30.

Attention all student drivers:  Please park in your assigned parking spots.  If you have not registered your vehicle, please pick up a parking application in the high school office and return it to Mrs. Larose as soon as possible.

Enrollment for the McClure STEM Teen Leaders employment program is now closed. If you filled out a form and either have not been contacted or have questions, please contact Mrs. Moore or Mrs. Bowen.

PSAT  (Preliminary Scholastic Aptitude Test). The PSAT exam will be administered at MVU on Saturday, October 14 to sophomores and juniors.  The College Board automatically screens juniors for the National Merit Scholarship Program, an academic competition for recognition and scholarships.   To sign up, students should stop by the guidance office and see Mrs. Greenia.  The cost is $16. The exam starts promptly at 8:00 AM and students need to be at MVU by 7:45 AM.  

College Fair - Wednesday, September 20, 2017.  Students in grades 10 – 12 are invited to attend the College Fair at the University of Vermont’s Patrick Gymnasium.  We will leave MVU at 8:15 AM and return by 12:00 PM.  Students should stop by the guidance office and pick up a permission form at the start of school.   The college fair is also open to parents and students on Tuesday, September 19 from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM.

The 9th Annual MVU-BFA Powder Puff benefit football game will take place on Saturday, September 23rd at the Collins-Perley Sports Complex beginning at 7:00 pm.  Come watch the senior girls from our two schools compete on the gridiron to support The Bashaw Trauma Center at Northwest Medical Center.  Remember there's nothing Powder Puff about this Football game!
