A - DAY

Leonard Parent will be here tomorrow, Wednesday, October 18th in the commons during all lunches handing out sports pictures.

The library will be closed today period ⅚ (11:02-12:47) and on Thursday during periods ¾ and ⅚ (9:32 - 12:47).

All students involved with math league need to return their permission slips to Mrs. Hudak or Mrs. Larose for our first meet by Thursday the 20th.

On October 21, 2016 there is a High school Halloween costume dance from 7pm-10pm in the gym. There will be prizes for costumes and a dance off! The admission is $6.00 or $5.00 with a non perishable item.  Food and drinks available for purchase.

SOCKTOBER! Bring in socks/gloves to donate to the good samaritan house... Collection box in the front lobby!  Whichever crossroads site that raises the most socks will get a special surprise!

Attention High School Students:
MVU is proud to announce that has partnered with the County Courier to create a student-run school newspaper. Advisers, Mrs. Douglass and Mrs. Heather Moore, are looking for motivated students to join this new club as either casual contributors or committed, year-long Editorial Staff members. Participation in this club is an excellent addition to your transcript or resume.  There will be an informational meeting in the Library on Thursday Oct 20th during TSA's.  Sign up sheets in the main office.

All students who want to play a winter sport, please sign up on line at mvuathletics.org.  Don’t forget to check with the school nurse to make sure your physical is up to date.  

Parent/teacher conferences are scheduled for this Thursday, October 20th and Friday, October 21st. Parents of high school students can log into “Pick A Time” to schedule meetings (directions can be found on our website). Parents of middle school students can schedule with a guidance counselor.

NJHS Horror Movie Night is on October 28th at 4:30 before the Haunted Forest. Please turn in permission slips to your prime group teacher.

Voice of Democracy Contest is open to all students grades 9-12.  Students should check in with their social studies or English teacher for a copy of the brochure with ​rules for the competition.  The deadline is Nov 1, 2016.
