B - DAY

The National Art Honor Society is having their first meeting October 10th, 3:00-4:00 in A32. Please see Ms DiDio or Ms Abraham with questions.

​Voice of Democracy Contest is open to all students grades 9-12.  Students should check in with their social studies or English teacher for a copy of the brochure with ​rules for the competition.  The deadline is Nov 1, 2016.

JV & Varsity boys’ soccer teams will be travelling to Middlebury.  Teams are dismissed at 1:15, bus leaves at 1:30.  Game time is 4:00.

7th & 8th grade girls soccer teams will be travelling to Georgia.  Teams are dismissed at 2:30, bus leaves at 2:45.  Game time is 4:00.

7th & 8th grade boys soccer teams will host Georgia.  Game time is 4:00.

Games this weekend:

• Football team and the Cheerleaders have their “Senior Game” this Saturday.  They will be hosting Spaulding.  Game time is 1:00.  
• JV & Varsity field hockey teams will be travelling to St. Johnsbury.  Bus leaves at 7:45. Varsity plays at 11:00, JV plays at 12:15.
• Middle school field hockey team will be travelling to South Burlington for a tournament.  Bus leaves at 10:30, games run from 12:00 - 4:00.

The Guidance Dept is scheduling times for military visits at MVU.  If you are interested in meeting with a representative, please stop by the guidance office and pick up a permission form if you haven't done so already.  Also, it will be helpful to know which military branch or branches you are interested in.

Attention 7th & 8th grade boys interested in playing Mini Metro Basketball this Fall: There will be open try-outs held at the MVU gym Sunday, October 9th 6:00-8:00 pm.

Payment for the PSAT being administered here at MVU on Saturday October 15, is due to the guidance office by Friday October 7th. To find out if you qualify for a fee waiver, see Mrs Greenia.
