A-DAY

MVU’s Haunted Forest will take place this Friday the 28th & Saturday the 29th from 6:00-9:00 pm. Admission is $10.00 with an unlimited times bracelet for $20.00/ (A rain night will be Sunday the 30th).

Attention all students working on the Haunted Forest this Friday and Saturday evening: There is a brief meeting in the Trahan Theatre today during high school TSA/the beginning of period 7 for middle school. These students are to report to class first at 12:50 for attendance purposes and then go to the Theatre.

MVU’s Annual Trunk or Treat will take place on Sunday, October 30th from 12:00-2:00. Come and check it out!

Advanced Skit Night tickets will be on sale in Mrs. Larose’s office starting today during all lunches. Tickets for Thursday night are $8 in advance or $10 at the door. Tickets for Friday night are $15 (no advance discount).

Sophomore Skit Practice on Monday, October 31st will be at 3:00-4:30 in the Theatre.

There will be a Middle School Open Gym Saturday morning from 10-noon.  Boys and Girls are welcome!

Open gym for girls in grades 7-12 interested in playing basketball this winter. Held this week Thursday, 10/27 from 2:45-4:00. Please contact jdaly@fnwsu.org with questions.

The 2016 Championship Hockey Skills Clinic will be held at the Highgate Arena for boys and girls in grades 7th - 12th on November 1st, 2nd & 3rd. Please pick up registration forms with more information in the high school office near Mr. Lumsden’s office or the HUB.

Band Concert in the Trahan Theatre at 6:30 Thursday, October 27th.

High School Sports Awards are Thursday, November 3rd at 6:00 in the Commons.

There is a Middle School Halloween Costume Contest on Friday, October 28th. Prizes awarded for the scariest, funniest, most original & prime group with the most participation. Rules: Nothing covering your entire face, no weapons (real or fake), school dress codes apply, no clown costumes please.

On Monday, October 31st, there will be a representative here from Colby Sawyer College at 8:30. If you are interested in getting some information about Colby Sawyer College, please stop by the guidance office and get a pass to be allowed out of class.

Also on Monday, October 31st at 10:30 , there will be a representative here form Bishop's University. If you would like more information about Bishop's University, please stop by and get a pass from Mrs. Greenia in the guidance office.

SOCKTOBER! Bring in socks/gloves to donate to the good Samaritan house... Collection box in the front lobby!  Whichever crossroads site that raises the most socks will get a special surprise!

All students who want to play a winter sport, please sign up on line at mvuathletics.org.  Don’t forget to check with the school nurse to make sure your physical is up to date.  

NJHS Horror Movie Night is on October 28th at 4:30 before the Haunted Forest. Please turn in permission slips to your prime group teacher.

Voice of Democracy Contest is open to all students grades 9-12.  Students should check in with their social studies or English teacher for a copy of the brochure with ​rules for the competition.  The deadline is Nov 1, 2016.

Little Caesars Pizza Kit - Get yours Today! Ask any Crossroads/AfterHours students or email Ms. Bowen @ abowen@fnwsu.org to order today!  Sales to benefit Dry Ice Experiments and other Crossroads Classes.  Fundraiser ends 12/12 and pick up is 12/19 here at MVU.
