Semi tickets are on sale in Mrs. Larose’s office during all lunch periods beginning today through February 1st. If you are bringing a guest who is not an MVU student, you must fill out a “guest contract” and return it to Mrs. Larose no later than Wednesday, January 31st.  The contracts can be picked up in Mrs. Larose’s office.  

The Franklin Northwest SU Superintendent’s search will be concluding on February 7th. On Wednesday February 7th, there will be an opportunity for the community to Meet and Greet, and ask questions of all Superintendent’s finalist/s that the search committee moves forward. Your input is valued by the Franklin Northwest Supervisory Union School Board so please try to attend from 4:15-5:15 PM at Missisquoi Valley Union School Library and Room A 32.  We look forward to hearing your questions and receiving your input so please:  SAVE THE DATE – FEBRUARY 7TH, 2018 at 4:15 PM.  

MVU STEM Fair is taking place on today in the Commons from 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm.  Everyone is invited to see all the great projects.  There will be entertainment and refreshments.

To all students who are participating in tonight’s STEM Fair, please plan to arrive at MVU at 4:45pm to be ready for judging at 5 pm.  It should conclude by 8pm and there will be entertainment in the Theater while the scoring is being finalized for the various awards.  Dress appropriately and have fun at this once a year event !  There will be some light refreshments provided.

If you are interested in attending a panel on any of the following career fields: Health Care, Manufacturing/Engineering, Trades (Including Renewable Energy, or Human Services/Education at CCV the morning of February 7th, please see Mrs. Hartman and sign up by this Friday, January 19th.

Crossroads & AfterHours have decided to cancel the Pie Breakfast and Clothing Swap fundraiser due to the crisis in our community. The clothing will be donated to families in need. Slices of pie, along with bowls of soup will be sold at the AfterHours sponsored MVU STEM Fair. We wish the families and friends in our community luck and much support while they push forward through this hard time.

Students participating in winter activities (Sports, Musical, Pep Band) are reminded that the end of Quarter 2/Semester 1 will be on Monday, January 22nd.  Be certain to check with your teachers regarding any missing or incomplete work.
