B Day
Middle school students: Thursday is the final day to turn in your Scary Movie Night permission slips to Mrs. Myers in room C-20. If you need a permission slip, swing by C-20 and get one!
Playoff Schedule
Wednesday, October 26th
- Varsity girls’ soccer team will be travelling to CVU for a playdown game. Team is dismissed at 12:45, bus leaves at 1:00. Game time is 3:00.
- Varsity boys’ soccer team will be travelling to Lake Region for a playdown game. Team is dismissed at 12:15, bus leaves at 12:30. Game time is 3:00.
- Varsity field hockey team will be hosting North Country in a quarterfinal game. Game time is 3:30.
Saturday, October 28th
- High school cross country team will be travelling to Thetford for the State Meet. Bus leaves at 6:45. Meet begins at 10:00.

All high school boys who are interested in playing hockey this year, there will be a meeting right after school on Thursday, October 26th in room C8.
The MVU Student Council is having their annual Trunk or Treat on October 29th from 12-2 in the MVU parking lot. Candy Donations are appreciated and can be put in the box in the teacher's lounge.
On Friday, October 27th from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm, Student Council will be holding their annual “Haunted Forest”. Entrance is from the MVU parking lot. Admission is $10.00 each or $20.00 for unlimited access. Rain date is scheduled for Saturday, October 28th.
There will be a mandatory Upward Bound meeting on Thursday, October 26th at 2:45 pm in room D9. If you can’t attend, please see Mrs. Miller or Ms Poulin.
All Upward Bound pizza orders are due in on October 26th.
MVU’s Debate and Model UN teams will meet this Thursday, October 26th at 3:00 pm in room D8. Transportation and snacks are available through the Crossroads and AfterHours program. Anyone interested in a fun debate is welcome. See your Social Studies teacher for more information.
Middle & high school Choral Concert will be held tonight at 6:30 pm in the Trahan Theater.

All high school students who are interested in participating in Dance this winter, there will be a meeting in the Commons tonight, Wednesday, October 25th from 5:15 - 6:00.
There will be a representative of Colby Sawyer College here on Thurs. Oct 26 at 10:00 to offer information and answer questions about the programs they offer. If you would like to meet with this representative please stop by the guidance office to be put on the list.
Also on Thurs. Oct 26 , there will be a representative of St Lawrence University here at 1:45 to answer questions and offer information about St Lawrence University located in Canton ,NY. If you would like to meet with this representative please stop by the guidance office to be put on the list.
There will be a representative of Vermont Technical College here on Monday Oct 30 at 9:00 to offer information and answer questions about programs and opportunities at Vermont Technical College. If you would like to meet with this representative please stop by the guidance office to be put on the list.
Attention Middle and High School Students: Winter sports registration is now open. You can sign up online at www.mvuathletics.org. Eligibility is based on first quarter grades. Please be sure your physical is up to date in the nurse’s office.
