  • High school cross country team will be travelling to Thetford for the State Meet.  Bus leaves at 6:45.  Meet begins at 10:00.

The first quarter of the school year ends on Thursday, November 2nd.

Attention Middle and High School Students:  Winter sports registration is now open. You can sign up online at www.mvuathletics.org.  Eligibility is based on first quarter grades.  Please be sure your physical is up to date in the nurse’s office.

Middle School Halloween costume contest for students, teachers & staff is on Tuesday, October 31st sponsored by Student Council.
Prizes awarded for the scariest, most original & prime group with the most participation! Judges will go around to classrooms during first period.
Here it is  - a trip of a lifetime during February break 2019!  Britain & Ireland In Depth includes travel to England, Ireland Scotland, and Wales.  Each country has its own contributions on a continuous timeline of innovation, conquest, and literary achievements.  Experience them in the historic cities of London, Edinburgh and Dublin, the scenic Ring of Kerry, the mystical circles of Stonehenge, and Shakespearean Stratford.  Early sign-up will save you $200 ($300 if past EF Traveler) on this fantastic offering -  don't miss the October 31st deadline!  Enrollment packet/itinerary on table in front lobby or in A-37 (cooking room).  See Mrs Machia if you have questions or contact eftours.com/enroll.

The MVU Student Council is having their annual Trunk or Treat on October 29th from 12-2 in the MVU parking lot. Candy Donations are appreciated and can be put in the box in the teacher's lounge.

On Friday, October 27th from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm, Student Council will be holding their annual “Haunted Forest”.  Entrance is from the MVU parking lot.  Admission is $10.00 each or $20.00 for unlimited access.  Rain date is scheduled for Saturday, October 28th.
There will be a representative of Vermont Technical College here on Monday Oct 30 at 9:00 to offer information and answer questions about programs and opportunities at Vermont Technical College. If you would like to meet with this representative please stop by the guidance office to be put on the list.

It's hard to believe but it is that time again!  If you would like to order a beautiful wreath and support the MVU Yearbook please stop by Carol Hakey's office to grab an order form.  Checks should be made payable to MVU Yearbook.
