BDAY
There will be a sophomore skit meeting on Thursday, September 8th in Mr. Fortin’s room (J18) at 7:30 am. All members of the Class of 2019 are welcome!
Attention Juniors Only: if you have registered your vehicle, please stop by Mrs. Larose’s office to pick up your parking permit.
Crossroads and AfterHours registrations forms due TOMORROW (9.8.16) Get your forms in early to guarantee a spot!
For girls in grades 7-12 interested in playing basketball this winter - there will be two open gym sessions each week during the fall.
This week will be Thursday 9/8 from 3-5pm.
Next week will be Thursday 9/15 from 3-4:30pm (this is a change). Due to HS open house set-up, there will be no open gym on Tuesday 9/13.

Congratulations to the Middle School and High School Cross Country team on a successful meet in Spaulding. Ben Magnant and Sean Powers came in 1st and 2nd for middle school, Callie Parks and Anna Brueckner came in 1st and 2nd for high school.
Students in grades 11 and 12 who drive to school, please remember to register your vehicle with Mrs. Larose in the high school office by Wednesday, September 14th. Parking spots will be assigned by the end of this week.
All students are reminded that food and drinks from outside vendors are not permitted once the school day begins. Also, please remember to check in at the front desk with Mrs. McWilliams when leaving and returning from an early dismissal.

2016 College Fair - St. Michael's College Thursday, September 22, 2016 - The bus will leave MVU at 8:30 and we will return at noon.
Juniors and Seniors interested in going to the college fair should sign up in the guidance office and pick up a permission form. The deadline for returning permission forms is Tuesday, September 20th.
As you may have heard, there are rumors that the Tower of Pisa is not safe and may be torn down, even after extensive renovations to help strenghthen and stabilize it. Don't miss your chance to see Pisa first-hand, and maybe for the last time! It is not too late to enroll for " Italy 2017"; deadline is September 23, 2017. Brochures are on the table in the lobby, Middle School HUB, Ms Hoffmann (C-2), or Mrs Machia (A-37). Next meeting is Tuesday, September 6th, 7:00pm in the Highgate Elementary School Library.
Attention all Senior Girls! The 8th Annual MVU-BFA Powder Puff benefit football game will take place on Saturday, September 17th at the Collins-Perley Sports Complex beginning at 7:00 pm. Come watch the senior girls from our two schools compete on the gridiron to support The Bashaw Trauma Center at Northwest Medical Center. If you think you have what it takes to be an MVU Powder Puff: the sign-up sheet is posted in the high school office. Any questions please see; Mr. Hartman, Mr. Corey, Mr. Palmer, or Mr. Lumsden. Remember there's nothing Powder Puff about this Football game!
