B-DAY

Middle School and Varsity Cross Country will be travelling to Randolph for a meet at VTC.  Teams are dismissed at 1:15, bus departs at 1:30 for a 4:00 meet time.

Boys JV and Varisty Soccer teams will be travelling to Rice.  Teams are dismissed at 2:15, bus departs at 2:30 for a 4:30 game time.

7th grade boys and 8th grade girls soccer teams will be travelling to Mt. Abraham.  Teams are dismissed at 1:45, bus departs at 2:00 for a 4:00 game time.

Saturday Games:

Girls JV & Varsity soccer will be travelling to Rice.  Team departs at 8:00 for a 10:00 game time.

The Varsity Football team will be hosting Springfield.  Game time is 1:00.

All students are invited to a Pizza Open House hosted by the MVU Pride Alliance this coming Monday.  The Pride Alliance is a social and support group for LGBTQ student and their supporters, and is open to all students who want to promote respect and community here at MVU.  Please join us for pizza and more information in room E12 from 3-4 o'clock on Monday the 26h.  Any questions may be directed to Mrs. Hamel in the library or Ms. Douglass in room E12.

Are you interested in Theater, Technical Theater or Dance? Join a large group of MVU students who are traveling to Johnson State College for the annual Performing Arts Festival on Friday, October 28th. There will be workshops, a tour of the campus, lunch and performances in Dibden Theater to round out the day. If you are interested please see Mr. Garceau or Mrs. Turner in the Music Room by the end of the day today, Friday, September 23rd.

Italy 2017 travelers are taking orders for Krispy Kreme doughnuts through Friday, September 23rd at $10 per dozen.  They will be deliveredTuesday & Wednesday, September 27 & 28th.  Please see a traveler, Mrs Machia (A-37), or Ms Hoffman (C-2) if you wish to order!

A Day in the Life is a one-day educational program held at the Northwestern Medical Center in St. Albans, VT.  The program provides students in grades 10 - 12 the opportunity to explore the health care field in a community setting.  If you are interested in learning more about a number of different healthcare careers and  strengthening skills and resources for career development apply online at www.cvahec.org/programs/high-school-student/a-day-in-the-life/.  applications are due by noon on Tuesday, September 27, 2016.  For questions, see Mrs. Hartman or your guidance counselor.

As you may have heard, there are rumors that the Tower of Pisa is not safe and may be torn down, even after extensive renovations to help strenghthen and stabilize it.  Don't miss your chance to see Pisa first-hand, and maybe for the last time!  It is not too late to enroll for " Italy 2017"; deadline is September 23, 2017.  Brochures are on the table in the lobby, Middle School HUB, Ms Hoffmann (C-2), or Mrs Machia (A-37).  

PSAT's will be held at MVU on Saturday, October 15th this year.  If you are interested in taking the PSAT's , please stop by the guidance office to sign-up.
