B Day

Bring your family, bring your friends; spread the word!  It is not too late to join us on a fantastic 2-week tour of the British Isles during winter break 2019! Due to the inclement weather conditions earlier this week, our meeting was re-scheduled to Monday, March 19th, 7:00pm in the Highgate Elementary School Library! Travelers from our 2018 trip may be present to share lots of pictures and information of our recent trip to Eastern Europe. We will also be discussing documents needed and fundraising possibilities.  You do not have to be signed up for the trip to attend this informational meeting - hope to see you there!

The 2018 Franklin Regional Career & Job Expo will be held on Thursday, March 29, 2018 at the Collins-Perley Sports & Fitness Center in St. Albans, VT.  The bus will leave MVU at 8:30 AM and return at 11:00 AM.  If you're interested in attending, please see Mrs. Greenia in the guidance office to pick up a permission form.

Please join us for a Band Concert held tonight at 6:30 pm in the Trahan Theatre.

Seniors interested in an immediate opening at Warner's snack bar to be able to work from 11:30 a.m. - 7:00 p.m. (able to use work release time), please see Mrs. Hartman.

Cailey’s Closet’s Annual Prom Dress Event! Saturday, March 31st, 9:30-noon at the Highgate Library and Community Center.  We have over 40 dresses to choose from- All have been donated and are FREE! Come see if your perfect dress is here!  Have a dress to swap, bring it. If not, no worries. Students interested in taken Summer Driver Education can sign up in the Guidance Office during the month of March. The deadline for sign ups is Friday, March 30th.  Students MUST have proof of a valid Vermont Learner’s Permit by April 1st.

The presentation by SSGT Martinson of the US Marine Corp about the NROTC program has been rescheduled to Friday, March 23rd at 10:00.

Spring Sports registration is open.  Please register at mvuathletics.org if you would like to participate in Track and Field,  Baseball, Softball and MS Golf.  If you would like to be a manager for a team, you also must sign up.  Make sure your physical is up to date, within the past 2 years and you are academically eligible (based on 2nd quarter grades).
