A Day
Today in Sports:
- 7th & 8th grade girls’ basketball teams will be travelling to Berkshire. Bus leaves at 4:00. 7th grade (Red/White teams) will play at 5:00, 8th grade plays at 6:00.
- 7th & 8th grade boys’ basketball teams will be hosting Berkshire. 7th grade plays at 5:00, 8th grade plays at 6:00.
- Varsity girls’ hockey team will be hosting Stowe in Scrimmage. Game time is 5:00 pm.
Congratulations to Callie Parks for her first place finish in the Regional National Junior Olympics Cross Country Championships a few weeks ago. Good luck to her as she travels to Tallahassee, Florida to compete in the National Championship race on Saturday
A backpack (blue with grey stripes) was lost in the gym on November 28th. If anyone finds it, please return it to Mrs. McWilliams at the front desk.
There is a Middle School Dance on Friday, December 8th. Make plans to attend 7:00-9:00.

Canned goods are being collected for Operation Happiness. Please bring them to TSA or your prime group. Non-perishable items are counted and collected daily. There are 3 days left to donate! Mr. Szabo’s Prime Group added the most on Friday.
Attention ALL cast members of MVU's musical Big Fish: We have changed the date of our first full cast rehearsal/read through to Thursday, December 14 from 3pm-6pm in the theater. Please visit Google Classroom to acknowledge this change and that you can attend.
MVU’s Community Charity Drive: We are asking for new unwrapped toys, and gently used coats. Please bring them to Mrs. Gagne in the gym. Thank you all in advance.
Attention Middle School Students: Ski/Board for free at Jay Peak! You are eligible if your quarter one report card reflects you are proficient on all habits of work. Get a free lift ticket all quarter long by bringing your MVU student ID to the Jay Peak customer service. Offer does not include rentals.
The Swanton Teen Center will be hosting its annual Community Dinner on Thursday, December 7th from 6-8pm. Come enjoy food and friends as we celebrate our last community dinner in the Memorial Building before we relocate in March. Free and open to all.
The MVU Literary Magazine is accepting applications for literary and art editors for the 2017-18 school year. Applicants must be in grades 10-12 and must complete the Google form application by Friday, December 15th. On Friday December 8, we will be hosting an On-the-Spot Decision day for Northern Vermont University. There will be representatives here from both the Johnson campus and the Lyndon campus. If you are interested in being interviewed for admission, please see your guidance counselor to be added to the list.
