B Day
There is a Middle School
Dance tonight Friday, December 8th. Make plans to attend 7:00-9:00.
On Tuesday, December 12th, MVU will be
celebrating Blue & White Day. In the morning, students will have a
1/2 day of school with shortened classes. Starting at 11:00, grades 7
& 8 will have lunch. Grades 9 & 10 will meet in the theatre and
grades 11 & 12 will meet in the gym.
Traditionally, Blue & White Days have focused
on drug and alcohol awareness and prevention. This Blue & White Day will
focus on taking care of oneself and building positive relationships.
Following lunch and two 40-minute long
workshops, Ed Gerety will speak to students and staff. Mr. Gerety is a
nationally renowned author and speaker and most recently spoke at the VT
Athletic Leadership Conference in November. His message will center
around creating a positive school culture, standing up to bullying and
harassment, and goal setting. We are asking that all students wear MVU
blue and/or white on this day.
Attention Football players: please pick up your
cookie dough forms today in Mr. Lumsden’s office. There will be a meeting
on Tuesday, December 13th from 2:45 - 3:45 in the Commons.
