Today’s Lunch:  Oven Baked Chicken Nuggets w/Choice of Sauces, Brown Rice Pilaf, Confetti Corn Salad, Gingered Cabbage Salad, Fruit.   
Tomorrow’s Lunch:  Whole Grain Spaghetti w/Meat Sauce, Fresh Dinner Roll, Tossed Greens, Three Bean Salad, Fruit.    

Tickets for this year’s Semi Formal dance to be held on Saturday, January 30th from 7:00 pm - 11:00 pm at the St. Albans American Legion will be on sale during lunch periods in Mrs. Larose’s office. The cost of a ticket is $15.00.  If you are bringing a guest to the dance, don’t forget to pick up a “guest contract” in Mrs. Larose office and return it to her no later than January 26th.  Remember that the Semi Formal is only for high school students in grades 9-12.

Rosie’s Girls STEM Leadership Overnight Camps & Mentorship Program

Audience: Teachers, Guidance Counselors, Parents, Principals, Students
The Rosie’s Girls STEM Leadership Overnight Camps & Mentorship Program is for Vermont girls entering 9th and 10th grades (Fall 2016) and being held at Vermont Tech, Randolph Center Campus, June 20 - 24 or July 11 - 15, 2016. Modeled after Rosie’s Girls Day Camps by Vermont Works for Women these residential camps help build strong, powerful confident young women through hands-on exploration of STEM activities & skilled trades, (Computer Info Tech; Civil/Environmental & Architectural Engineering Tech; Construction Management; Science, Agriculture, Welding; Fire Science; Mechanical & Advanced Manufacturing Engineering) loads of activities, arts, and more. It is still not too late to sign up for “The Grand Tour of Italy 2017”! Sign up by February 15th and save $100 ($200 if a former “EF” traveler).  All students 7-12 and adults are welcome to join us. Next meeting Tuesday, January 26th 7:00 pm in the Highgate Elementary School Library. Information packets available on table in the front lobby or check it out at eftours.com/1807779MN!

The spring semester of Introduction to College Studies starts on Tuesday, January 26 at 4:00 at CCV in St. Albans.  This is a free college class open to high school students and seats are still available.  If interested, see Mrs. Hartman or a guidance counselor to register or you can go to ccv.edu to register independently.  If you are thinking of taking college classes, this is a good class to start with.
