B Day

Anyone interested in auditioning for MVU's upcoming musical, Big Fish should pick up an audition packet in front of the band room. Please sign up with your name and email address. Also please sign up for an audition time based on the character or chorus part you wish to audition for.  Auditions will be on Wednesday November 15th, chorus parts will audition from 3pm-4pm, anyone auditioning for the lead characters will need to check back on Tuesday, November 14th for their specific audition time.

Attention Middle and High School Students:  Last day to sign up for a winter sport is Friday, November 17th.  You can sign up online at www.mvuathletics.org.  Eligibility is based on first quarter grades.  Please be sure your physical is up to date in the nurse’s office.

On November 30th, a group of MVU students will be going to Burlington to see a play that touches on LGBTQ identity, bullying, friendship, and mental health.  If you are interested in attending this play, please see Ms. Douglass in room E12 as soon as possible.  There is a limited number of tickets, and students will be included on a first-come, first-served basis.

Picture retakes are scheduled for Tuesday, November 14th from 7:30 am - 9:00 am in the theater with Shawn Corrow.  Please sign up with Mrs. McWilliams at the front desk.  Original pictures must be returned at the time of retakes and there is a $5.00 retake fee.

Middle School basketball practice starts today, Monday, November 13th in the MVU gym. Please visit http://www.mvuathletics.org/home for more information. Boys practice today from 3:00-4:30. Girls practice today from 4:30-6:00.

There will be an informational meeting for those interested in joining the NHS chapter on November 14 right after school in D7.

Late Fall Crossroads/AfterHours Flyers are out!  Please see your teacher or stop by the front office, guidance office or middle school office to get your copy today.  Registrations forms are due 11/16/17.

Info is out for the annual Crossroads/Afterhours uncommon grounds coffee fundraiser and our first annual Christmas tree sale in partnership with Maple City Candy.  Check the Crossroads/Afterhours flyers for more info.

Middle School basketball practice starts on Monday, November 13th in the MVU gym. Please visit http://www.mvuathletics.org/home for more information. Boys practice on Monday 3:00-4:30. Girls practice on Monday 4:30-6:00.

On Thursday morning, November 9th we will be holding our annual Veteran's Day assembly in the theatre.  Grades 7-9 will be called to the theatre at 8:10.  The assembly should last no longer than 30 minutes (8:15 - 8:45).

The Elks National Hoop Shoot. A Free Throw Program (Competition) for Youth Ages 8-13.  Highgate Residents  Nov 3,  6-7 pm at Highgate Elementary School.  AGE REQUIREMENTS   AGES 8-13.  AGE GROUPS ARE BASED ON THE CONTESTANT’S AGE ON APRIL 1, 2018.
If the contestant will be age 7 on April 1, 2018 she/he is too young to participate.
If the contestant will be age 8 or 9 on April 1, 2018 she/he shoots in the 8/9 age group.
If the contestant will be age 10 or 11 on April 1, 2018 she/he shoots in the 10/11 age group.
If the contestant will be age 12 or 13 on April 1, 2018 she/he shoots in the 12/13 age group.
If the contestant will be age 14 on April 1, 2018 she/he is too old to participate.
There are 6 divisions. 3 Girls and 3 Boys.
