B Day

There will be an informational meeting for those interested in joining the NHS chapter on November 14 right after school in D7.

Annual MVU Skit Night is this Thursday and Friday.  Cost: $10 Thursday / $15 Friday.  Doors open at: 6:15 pm Thursday and 6:00 pm Friday.

A 2016/17 yearbook was taken from Mrs. Hakey’s office on November 6th.  Mrs. Hakey would appreciate it very much if you would return it to her as soon as possible.

Late Fall Crossroads/AfterHours Flyers are out!  Please see your teacher or stop by the front office, guidance office or middle school office to get your copy today.  Registrations forms are due 11/16/17.

Info is out for the annual Crossroads/Afterhours uncommon grounds coffee fundraiser and our first annual Christmas tree sale in partnership with Maple City Candy.  Check the Crossroads/Afterhours flyers for more info.

There is no school scheduled on Friday, November 10th.

On Thursday morning, November 9th we will be holding our annual Veteran's Day assembly in the theatre.  Grades 7-9 will be called to the theatre at 8:10.  The assembly should last no longer than 30 minutes (8:15 - 8:45).

Support your basketball teams by joining MVU’s Pep Band!  There will be an introductory meeting on Thursday, November 9th in the band room from 2:45 to 3:15.  You must be able to read sheet music and have lots of energy to pump up a crowd.

Last day to order wreaths is November 17th.  If you would like to place an order, please see Mrs. Hakey.

Attention high school students: if you haven’t already, please pick up your school pictures and ID’s at the front desk.  

Attention all middle and high school students:  Just a reminder that the school ID cards will get you into all basketball and hockey home games for free.  

On Thursday Nov 9 at 9:00, there will be a representative of Emmanuel College here to answer questions and offer information about the programs they offer. If you would like to meet with this representative please stop by the guidance office to be put on the list.

Picture retakes are scheduled for Tuesday, November 14th from 7:30 am - 9:00 am in the theater with Shawn Corrow.  Please sign up with Mrs. McWilliams at the front desk.

Attention Middle and High School Students:  Winter sports registration is now open. You can sign up online at www.mvuathletics.org.  Eligibility is based on first quarter grades.  Please be sure your physical is up to date in the nurse’s office.
