B Day

Attention high school students: if you ordered your school pictures, you can pick them up in Mrs. Raleigh’s office (guidance hallway).  If you did not order pictures, you can pick up your ID cards with Mrs. McWilliams at the front desk.  

Attention all middle and high school students:  Just a reminder that the school ID cards will get you into all basketball and hockey home games for free.  

On Monday Nov 6 at 10:00, there will be a representative of Southern Vermont College here to answer questions and offer information about the programs they offer. If you would like to meet with this representative please stop by the guidance office to be put on the list.
There will be a representative of Vermont Technical College here on Wed. Nov 8 at 9:00 to offer information and answer questions about the programs they offer at both the Williston and Randolph campuses.. If you would like to meet with this representative please stop by the guidance office to be put on the list.

On Thursday Nov 9 at 9:00, there will be a representative of Emmanuel College here to answer questions and offer information about the programs they offer. If you would like to meet with this representative please stop by the guidance office to be put on the list.

The Elks National Hoop Shoot. A Free Throw Program (Competition) for Youth Ages 8-13.  Highgate Residents  Nov 3,  6-7 pm at Highgate Elementary School.  AGE REQUIREMENTS   AGES 8-13.  AGE GROUPS ARE BASED ON THE CONTESTANT’S AGE ON APRIL 1, 2018.
If the contestant will be age 7 on April 1, 2018 she/he is too young to participate.
If the contestant will be age 8 or 9 on April 1, 2018 she/he shoots in the 8/9 age group.
If the contestant will be age 10 or 11 on April 1, 2018 she/he shoots in the 10/11 age group.
If the contestant will be age 12 or 13 on April 1, 2018 she/he shoots in the 12/13 age group.
If the contestant will be age 14 on April 1, 2018 she/he is too old to participate.
There are 6 divisions. 3 Girls and 3 Boys.
Girls 8-9​             Boys 8-9
Girls 10-11        Boys 10-11
Girls 12-13        Boys 12-13


Picture retakes are scheduled for Tuesday, November 14th from 7:30 am - 9:00 am in the theater with Shawn Corrow.  Please sign up with Mrs. McWilliams at the front desk.

Attention Middle and High School Students:  Winter sports registration is now open. You can sign up online at www.mvuathletics.org.  Eligibility is based on first quarter grades.  Please be sure your physical is up to date in the nurse’s office.

Dream Team – Hayden Rice – Respectful and positive role model and displaying excellent work ethic
Voyagers Team – Jacob Noel – Hardworking (coming out of his shell with peers and teachers) and challenging himself in class
Firebirds Team – Abby Peters – Adapting to a new school and perseverance through academic challenges

XStream Team – Eleanor Maguire – XStream citizen – helping others while still maintaining personal high academic standards
