B-DAY

Attention Senior Drivers: Additional parking spots are now numbered. If you were assigned a spot #78 through #95, you can now begin to park in it.  The Senior Parking has been extended in the back row.  The new spots are in front of the AG building.  Please remember to put your parking sticker on your front windshield.

It's that time of the year again for our annual Charity Drive for Operation Happiness!!! We are now accepting used clean coats, non perishable food items, and new unwrapped toys. These items can be brought to the gym and Mrs Gagne will take care of them. If you are a middle school student, please place these items in the box located in your prime group. Please donate today thru Tuesday, December 7th!!! Thank you in advance for your generosity and Happy Holidays from Student Council.


Attention high school students: if you have not picked up your student id please do so as soon as possible.  The ID’s will allow you to get into all home basketball and hockey regular season games for FREE.  If you do not have your pass, cost will be $1.00.  The ID’s can be picked up in Mrs. Larose’s office.

All Upward Bound students will meet in the library this Friday, 11/18 for an important community meeting.  There will be classes in the library during that time, so we can meet in the nook of the fiction section. We will not meet Monday afternoon, 11/21.

The Thunderbird Beef Coop is holding a beef sale in the Commons this Friday during lunch.  Ground beef and a variety of steaks will be for sale. The beef is USDA inspected, locally produced, responsibly raised, hormone free, freshly processed, vacuum packed and flash frozen.  Bring a cooler to keep it frozen on the way home. Cash or checks are accepted.

Need a night away from cooking dinner.......come on down to Applebee's in South Burlington on Thursday, November 17 from 4PM to 9PM for dinner and help support the Class of 2017 Substance Free Party!  A portion of all bills will help support the class.  Flyers can be picked up by the front office.

Picture Retakes will take place on Thursday, November 17th from 9:00 - 11:00 in the theater.  There will be a $5.00 retake fee and you must return your original photos.  The sign-up for retakes is at the front desk or the HUB.

Any student in grades 10, 11 or 12 who are interested in applying to the MVU National Honor Society should attend the informational meeting on Thursday, November 17th in room D7 at 2:45.  Please see Mr. Napolitano or Mr. Gildemeister if you have any questions.

Attention Crossroads/AfterHours students.  The current session is coming to a close on Thursday Nov 17th.  The NEW session is beginning after thanksgiving break on Nov 28th, so get your registration forms in ASAP to guarantee a spot in your first choice class.  With any questions please contact Ashley Bowen. abowen@fnwsu.org or ext 156. The Elks National Hoop-shoot Contest is holding preliminary contests to qualify for boys and girls ages 8 to 13. Middle school students who are age eligible should participate in the town they live. Swanton Elementary School gym -  (12 and 13 years old only)Thursday Nov. 17th 3 pm.
