A DAY
There will be a Sophomore Class meeting during TSA on Wednesday, April 19th in the theater. Please check in with your teacher before you go to the meeting.
Today in Sports:
- Varsity Softball & Baseball team will be hosting Milton. Game time is 4:30 pm.
- JV Softball will be travelling to Milton. Bus departs at 3:00 pm.
- *No JV baseball game vs. Milton
Coach DiDio will be holding a meeting for FALL Cheer this Wednesday - April 19, During TSA in A32. Please get a pass PRIOR to coming to the meeting.
Spring Crossroads/AfterHours flyers are out. See your teacher, visit your school office, or check the Crossroads/AfterHours bulletin Boards to get yours today!!! The Spring session runs May 1 - 25. Please return forms by April 20th to guarantee your space. Offerings this session include (but are not limited to) Art Club, Mountain Biking, Dance, Personal Fitness, DIY Beauty, Movie Club, History of Rap, Running Club, Russian Club and MORE. Classes with low enrollment will be postponed and late registrations will be placed in any class with available space.
Friday, April 21 is the national Day of Silence. On this day, LGBTQ+ and allied youth across the country take a vow of silence to support students who have been pressured by bullying, harassment and prejudice to remain silent about who they really are. To participate, please sign up this week with Mrs. Hamel in the library.
Attention Juniors/Seniors: If you are bringing a guest to this year's Prom who is not an MVU student, you must fill out a “guest contract” and return it to Mrs. Larose no later than Monday, May 1st. The contracts can be picked up in Mrs. Larose’s office. Prom is being held at the Sunset Ballroom on Saturday, May 6th. Tickets are $30.00 and are on sale with Mrs. Gagne in the gym.
A reminder for those students who wish to attend the “Try A Major Day” at Vermont Technical College on May 5th to bring in your signed permission forms to your TSA teacher, Mrs. Larose in the high school office or Mr. Barwin in the new Maker Space in the Library. Permission slips are available in the guidance office, TSA teacher or Mrs. Larose.
This is the time to register for the SATs at MVU which are to be offered on Saturday June 3rd. Regular Registration Deadline is May 9.
