Today’s Lunch: Sweet & Sour Chicken over Steamed Brown Rice, Stir Fry Veggies, Tossed Spinach & Cranberry Salad, Fruit.
Tomorrow’s Lunch: Sweet Baby Ray’s Pulled Pork Sandwich, Sweet Potato Fries, Fresh Summer Squash Salad, Creamy Cole Slaw, Fresh Fruit.
Attention all students in grades 8 through 11: Student Council Petitions are on the desk outside of Mr. Hartman’s office. They must be signed and returned to the box in Mrs. Larose’s office.
There will be a brief informational meeting for those interested in the Presidential Inauguration trip after school in D7.
Seniors: You may purchase your senior banquet tickets from Mrs. Hudak during school starting today 5/10/16. The cost is free for seniors, but $15 for family members and friends.
Juniors: We will be working on senior banquet this coming weekend, attendance is mandatory for all those involved in the senior banquet this year.
The Library will be closed all day today and from 7:30 - noon tomorrow.

THE MIDDLE SCHOOL THANK YOU DANCE IS THIS FRIDAY, MAY 13th
FROM 7-9 pm. FREE ADMISSION TO STUDENTS IN GOOD STANDING
( no office referrals for the 2015-2016 school year).
Admission for other students is $6.00 or $5.00 with a canned good.
(from the last dance on 4/1) Students may not attend of they have any suspensions or two or more in-school suspensions.
Any student or staff who would like a “Super Thunderbird” shirt can get one from Mrs. Gagne for only $5.00.
Great opportunity on May 17, to investigate career opportunities with Vermont's Air National Guard (VTANG). The VTANG, will be providing transportation to an from MVU to their facility in South Burlington. Students will be able to participate and observe numerous career opportunities there. If you are interested in participating, stop by guidance and pick up a permission form, which is required for you to attend this exciting event.
It is not too late to sign up for Italy 2017 and discover the regional traditions, unique sights, and vibrant culture of this country. From the canals in Venice to the Roman Colosseum, this is a travel experience you will not want to miss! Next meeting is Tuesday, May 10th, 7:00pm in the Highgate Elementary School Library. Please support our current Maple Cookie fundraiser to help us achieve our goal! Enrollment, fundraiser and travel information available on the table in the front lobby, in the faculty lounge, or from Mrs. Machia in A-37. Open to all students 8-12th grade, and adults.
