High School Announcements

Today’s Lunch:  Homemade Chili with Beans, Baked Potato, Steamed Broccoli, Whole Wheat Dinner Roll, Fresh Fruit.


  • The Library will be closed all day on Tuesday.

  • Any student who wishes to attend the Crossroads/Afterhours after school program must have a completed registration form to attend. Registration forms must be turned into the main office before the start of any program. If you have any questions see the new crossroads/afterhours coordinator, Tessa Massett.

  • The 2nd Annual Holiday Tractor Parade will take place tonight, Friday, December 4th at 5:30 pm.   The parade route will go from the St. Albans Coop Store up Main Street by Taylor Park.   Free Hot Chocolate, photo booth, visit with Santa and check out the holiday tractors on display.  Support our neighbors with donations of nonperishable food items that will be collected at the entrance of the store and enjoy free face painting from 4pm-7pm.

  • You are invited for a movie and popcorn!  Please join the Pride Alliance for a viewing of The Laramie Project, which tells the story of how the senseless death of Matthew Shepherd helped to fuel the gay rights movement.   The first part of the film will be shown in E12 on December 7 from 3-4 pm, and the viewing will conclude the following week.  All are welcome and refreshments will be served.  For more information, contact Mrs. Hamel in the library or Ms. Douglass in E12.  

  • The Teen Center will be holding their Annual Holiday Dinner on Thursday, December 10th at 6:00 pm.  Please bring a dish to share!  

  • The annual MVU Food Drive to support Operation Happiness is taking place now until December 9th in high school TSA’s and middle school Prime Groups.  There are donation boxes located in every advisory classroom which will be collected each day.  Our goal this year is to collect 3,000 non-perishable food items to help families in our area during the upcoming holiday season.  If you have any questions please contact the high school office.

  • Students planning to tour the Northwest Technical Center on December 10th are reminded that your permission papers are due to Mr. Hartman in the high school office by Monday, December 7th.

  • There will be a mandatory NAHS meeting in room J14 from 3-4. Please be on time.

  • Introduction to College Studies is a free college course offered to all high school students thinking about attending college.  It helps students make the transition to college and careers and gives students the chance to  look at time management and study skills, money and financial aid, communication and many other important success strategies. Registration is now open for Spring; Tuesday sessions from 4:00 - 5:45 with classes beginning January 26 and ending May 3 or  summer sessions on Tuesdays from 9:00 - noon  starting June 21 and ending August 9 or Wednesdays from 1:00 - 4:00 starting June 22 and ending August 10.

Middle School Announcements

  • SEE YOU AT THE DANCE TONIGHT FROM  7:00-9:00!

  • Student Council members will be taking a daily count during homeroom of donated items for the Annual Warm Your Heart Food Drive, Coat Drive and Toy Drive.

  • St. Albans Rotary and Smugglers’ Notch 2016 season ski and ride with skill program sign-up information sheets are in the HUB.
