B DAY

High School Announcements

Today’s Lunch Special:  Sweet Baby Ray’s Pulled Pork Sandwich, Sweet Potato Fries, Fresh Summer Squash, Creamy Cole Slaw, Fresh Fruit.

Tomorrow’s Lunch Special:  Breakfast for Lunch:  Whole Grain Waffle w/Maple Syrup, Sausage Patty, Home Fries, Yogurt, Spinach & Strawberry Salad, Fresh Fruit.

• In order to participate in a winter sport, all athletes must sign up online at mvuathletics.org.  If you have any questions or you’re having difficulties logging on to our website, please see Mr. Lumsden or Mrs. Larose in the high school office.  Middle school registration closes on Monday, November 9th and high school registration closes on Monday, November 16th.  Please make sure your physical is up to date.

 

• There will be a freshman class skit meeting all week in the theater from 3:00 - 4:00, with lights.

• For all High School girls in grades 9-12 who signed up to play basketball this season -- There will be a mandatory meeting this Thursday, November 5th, right after school in room A-39.  The meeting is regarding try-outs, eligibility, and practice schedules and will be short.  The last open gym session will follow the meeting.  If you have any questions please contact Mr. Daly.  

• Open gym for girls basketball players this week will be on Thursday from 3-4:30pm.

• Skit Nite tickets will be on sale in Mrs. Larose’s office during all lunch periods. Cost is $7.00 for Thursday night, $8.00 for Friday night.

• NAHS will be meeting in room A32 on Thursday, November 5th, beginning promptly at 3:00 pm. If you have any questions, please see Ms DiDio or Ms Benoit.

• Auditions for the musical will be on November 18th beginning at 3:30.  The sign up sheet for this year’s production of The Little Mermaid is posted on the band room door.  All students in grades 7 through 12 are encouraged to participate.

• The FFA will also be having their Annual Citrus Sale.  If you would like to place an order, please see one of our FFA members or Mr. Wilde.  

• The Yearbook Committee is selling Christmas wreaths.  Students will be coming around to see you or you can pick up an order form in Mrs. Hakey’s office.

• Exchange Student hosting experience 2016! How does hosting an exchange student from January through June, sharing your traditions and making a dream come true sound? • Greetings, prospective 8th grade b'ballers!

Coach Bose is holding a clinic for younger players with his Varsity team this Saturday from 11 to 1 at the MVU gym. This should be an excellent way to get started with the season ahead of tryouts beginning Monday. I will be there, and I hope you can make it, also.
