A DAY

Today is “Custodian Appreciation Day”.  Please say thank you to them for all their hard work in keeping our school running.

Attention Seniors:  If you have not picked up your cap and gown from Mrs. Larose, please do so as soon as possible.

Today in Sports:
  • Varsity Track & Field team will be travelling to Essex.  Team is dismissed at 1:30, bus leaves at 1:45.  Meet begins at 3:30.
  • JV Baseball team will be travelling to Rice.  Team is dismissed at 2:15, bus leaves at 2:30.  Game time is 4:30.
  • Varsity Softball & Baseball teams will be hosting Rice.  Game time is 4:30.
  • JV Softball team will be hosting Fairfax.  Game time s 4:30.
  • Varsity Boys’ Golf team will be travelling to Newport.  Team leaves at 6:45 am, match begins at 9:00.

MVU Summer Academy Forms are OUT.  Please look for the yellow registration forms and return completely filled out to Miss Bowen no later than May 25th to confirm your space!

Seniors- Please bring your permission slips into Mrs. Hudak in D12 or Mrs. Larose by May 30th for the senior class trip on June 5th. You must have a parent or guardian sign your permission slip. If you you need a permission slip please pick one up from Mrs. Hudak in D12.

8th grade students can pick up their forms in the HUB.

The Middle School is collecting one baby photo (under age 5 if possible) of each 8th grade student to decorate the entryway of the gymnasium for the 8th Grade Celebration. Please bring photos to the HUB at your earliest convenience. Please hand in your pictures!!

B DAY


On Tuesday, May 23, 11th grade students will take the English Language Arts SBAC test.  The test will begin at 8 and end at 12.  Lunch will be available at school before students are dismissed.   Testing will take place in D-pod.  It is important that students arrive to school on time for the test.  Cell phones and other electronic devices are not allowed at any point during the testing session.

There is a 10th grade student council election meeting today in the theater during TSA.

  • No JV Baseball game today.

  • Boys’ varsity golf team will be travelling to West Bolton.  Team is dismissed at 1:00, van leaves at 1:15.  Match begins at 3:00.
This weekend in Sports:
  • Varsity Softball team will be travelling to South Burlington.  Bus leaves at 9:00 for an 11:00 game time.
  • Varsity Track & Field team will be travelling to Burlington High School.  Bus leaves at 8:00, meet begins at 10;00
  • JV softball & baseball teams will be hosting South Burlington.  Game time is 11:00.
  • 8th grade softball & baseball will be hosting Colchester.  Game time is 4:00.
Just a reminder to Sophomores participating in the H&B hanging basket fundraiser to please return tags and funds to either Mr. Gowland or Mr. Fortin as soon as possible.

The Middle School “Thank You” dance will be held tonight,  Friday, May 12th from 7:00 - 9:00.

The Crossroads/AfterHours will be holding a Pie 4 Breakfast this Saturday at the Swanton Municipal Building from 8:00 -11:00. 5$ for all you can eat pie (until its gone) children under 5 are free!! The first 50 mothers to come will get a carnation thanks to Claussens.  There will also be a Lularoe consultant and some other giveaways.
